I have this problem too, from time to time. I think, if youre experiencing the same problem as me, that it is bug in the newest m-audio drivers. The problem started to happen 3 or four months ago after trying new drivers for my part. I also have a 1814 card with the same problem. It works fine most of the time, but sometimes it just wont give sound. Try to turn the faders up and down in the 410 driver application: outputs and the submixer faders. This helps 40% of the time. Also try to switch the digital sync over from internal to external sync and back again. Or vice verca (also in the 410 app) Ive found that these workarounds helps most of the time. It could be that the preference files for the driver application is bad so you could also try to delete them but I doubt this will help you, its more likely a bad driver thing. keep in mind that, turning sync from internal to external and back again often confuses pro tools mp, and can generate the dreaded "play/stop" problem, were after pressing play: the stop button lights up at the same time and no playback is given from pro tools. In that case restart your computer and try again. Good luck & hope this helps you. Geir
