Question for those with Radikal Control Surfaces

MessageAuthor

I got my SAC 2.2 hooked up lastnight and started playing with it, but something has slightly concerned. During playback, the first LCD displays seem to show a level meter for the first four tracks, but these same meters don't show up in the LCDs of tracks 5-8 on the SAC. Is this normal? Ostrich99

RE: Question for those with Radikal Control Surfaces

So far I'm extremely please with mine. And an update on my first post in this thread, for some reason the meters have begun working on all 8 track LEDs. I must have been extremely tired the first night I noticed this or something. Originally I was going to buy the Mackie Control since the SAC is quite a bit more expensive if you buy it new. I ended up finding a deal I couldn't pass up on an open box SAC 2.2 at Guitar Center. Paid $679 for it. Had to purchase the powersupply from Radikal since it was missing though. There are a couple great pluses to this thing: 1) You can hook it up via USB and not have to use your MIDI ports on the 001. 2) Hooking it up via USB is faster with not as much latency in the control surface. 3) You get a USB hub built into it. 4) You get more MIDI ports built into it. 5) It also works with multiple software packages. Not to mention that their customer service was stellar when I had to order the powersupply and register an open box product. I'll update you again in a week after I've played with it some more, but so far I'm extremely happy with it and the deal I got on it. Ostrich99
