I have been trying to backup American Wedding and it is not coming out correctly. I believe that it is due to the IILV. The problem is where two segments come together there is a split second where I see a "blip", where it appears to have a screen full of collored blocks. It is difficult to describe, so here is a sample of the video where this occurs: I have been using DVD Rebuild 1.00 RC1 and on with no problems, except on this title, which is an IILV movie. I know my description of the problem sucks, which is why I provided the sample video above. I believe the problem is DVD Rebuilder and how it is handling the IILV segments but I AM NOT 100% sure. Any ideas or comments are greatly appreciated to help me figure this out. Here is some info that might help: Version: DVD Rebuild 1.00 RC4.1 AVISYNTH: Version 2.5.6.0 CCE: CCE 2.67 SP using ECLCCE Decoder: DGDECODE that comes with DVD Rebuilder Movie Format: NTSC Region 1 As far as the segments where this problem occurs, I have one segment named V05000400003002 and one named V05000500004001. The "blip" as I call it, occurs where these two segments are put together. This problem occurs on both. I have also tried HC and QuEnc. Same problem. This may be a DVD Rebuilder problem in how it handles the IILV stuff. But, I am no expert on this stuff, so it may be CCE or AVISYNTH related. I don't know, which is why I am asking for the forum's help. Any ideals, comments, suggestions, etc., please feel free to reply. I have a few other IILV titles to back up, but would like to get past this issue first. Thanks for your time and your help. Try it on VBR mode... you shouldn't use "One pass" on ILVU titles.

i think he mentioned trying vbr. btw.. how did you get (make) that sample video? i looked at it in virtualdubmod and played back frame by frame, the video switches from inside the house to outside for one frame. (played back fast it blocks but its prolly just the decoder unable to keep up with the big scene switch. ) either way it shouldnt be..

Rockas, I tried it using VBR, also. Same result. Trahald, I made the sample video using cutterman. The source was the rebuilt movie. I didn't use sound, as it wasn't needed to see the problem. Thanks. Later. -Acerjen

Traheld, I just ran it through VirtualDubMod, as you did, and see the same thing. The "blip", as I call it, is the video stream switching to a different frame and then back. It appears to be just 1 frame from the outside scene. So, do you think it is a DVD Rebuilder problem? If so, how do I make Jdobbs aware of it? Thanks. Later. -Acerjen

Rockas: My ripped files play fine. Trahald: I tried the rebuild out on both hardware and software players. Rippraff: My CPU is an Athlon 64 3200 (2.0GHz). It is NOT overclocked. I appreciate the input. Any other ideals will be appreciated. Thanks. Later. -Acerjen
